　内容的にはgoogle翻訳もexcite翻訳も同様か、excite翻訳の方が正確な部分もあります。しかし、excite翻訳が小さなセンテンス入力ボックスなのに対し、google翻訳の方は入力ボックスが動的に変化することと、対応言語が極めて広いことなど、良い点が幾つかあります。自分としては、google翻訳程度の品質であれば、文章の大意を掴むのは充分と思いました。
　但し、WEB翻訳の最大の問題点は、機密が守られないということです。http:// の通信で原文と翻訳結果がインターネットに流れてしまい、誰が傍受しているか判りません。また、翻訳サービス提供者が、原文をどのように使うのかも全く判りません。google翻訳もexcite翻訳も、ユーザーに対して守秘義務を負っている訳ではないようです。よって、機密文書の翻訳はインハウスの翻訳ソフトを使う必要があります。
